MATERIALS: 1 ball of Berroco Suede [100% nylon; 120yd per 50g skein] (*one ball will make at least 2-3 cozies)
* 1 set US 8/5mm straight needles
* 2 US 8/5mm double-point needles
* tapestry needle
* one button or large bead
* a pocket pack of tissues
GAUGE: 19 sts/28 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch
PATTERN NOTES: Even if geometry wasn’t your best subject, you should be able to whip together this baby in an hour or so. The diagram should help you to visualize the seams (A and B) and finished edges.
CO 31 sts.
Work St st until piece measures 2".
(RS) BO 5 st, k to end (26 st remain on needles).
(WS) BO 5 st, p to end (21 st remain on needles).
Work St st until piece measures 3 inches from first bind off row (5" total).
BO 9 st, k3 onto one of the dpn, BO 9.
RS facing you, use the dpn to make an I-Cord with the 3 remaining st.
When the I-Cord measures 2 inches, turn work, p3tog, then cut 10” tail of yarn and pull through the remaining stitch.
