Jennifer Casa is a maker of modern heirlooms.
A self-taught designer who sews + knits, JCasa creates original pieces that add both function and style to your everyday life. Her work is inspired by her children, summers in the Adirondacks, travels through Austria + Germany, books and music, and most especially by her love of vintage textiles and patchwork. In her collection of patterns and projects, she taps into her many years of teaching experience while designing and strives to encourage beginners to embrace needlework + crafts with simple instructions, and a goodly sense of humor.
Jennifer has written several books on sewing, vintage textiles and crafting with kids, and her work is frequently published in print and online. She balances her professional time working as an early childhood educator and writer, and lives with her husband and twin daughters in Northern Ohio.
