UP : my variation on last week's sketch -
a little peek behind the scenes, as it were -
i was quite literal with my use of colors this week, trying to nudge the watercolors into just the right places without overdoing it. within its abstractness, a sense of literal felt like a nice balance, and i don't think it gave too much away. and i love the lightness about it, sort of like a breath.
i am very interested in seeing the creations by those of you who accepted my invitation and would love it if you would share a link to your work in that post.

small + simple, my intention with this sketch is to leave the door wide open. i am keeping tight-lipped about some ideas i have to incorporate this drawing into other pieces/mediums because i would love to leave it open-ended for those of you who wish to work with it*. so go on and elaborate, reinterpret... play with it. xoxo
