i've chosen to wear my glasses more frequently over contacts the past few years (since the pirate patch) and have found my eyes are less tired at the end of the day and headaches have lessened significantly as has eye pain in general. sure, i still wear contacts to fancy schmancy things, or just to mix it up now and then, but for the most part i have reverted to being the girl in glasses. funny how life comes full circle, huh. i treated myself to new frames last summer and really like them a lot, but i since i am wearing them pretty much every day, i am getting bored and would love to have options for a different look.
so i've been trying on* new frames for the past few days - care to offer a guess of which will be the winner? bear in mind my prescription is very (near-sighted) STRONG and centering my eyes in the lenses is important. the larger the lens itself with respect to the placement of the pupil affects the thickness of the lenses at the edge. these are the ones i am considering, and i'd love the feedback.
have a look -
feel free to overlook the house-cleaning clothes + dirty hair + no-makeup action happening here, thank you. the kiddos are hoping for Nerd glasses. and i think it's safe to say that while they are super cool looking, #3 is out because of the whole unibrow effect they have on my coloring.
other than that, i'm still on the fence. thoughts? xoxo
*more on the whole Warby Parker experience when it's all said and done. so far = love.
