i've had this wall hook for several years, lost in the mess abyss of a hall closet with no hope of finding a home anytime soon. but when from the first moment i saw my studio space, i knew it would be the perfect way to feature bits and pieces against the creamy whiteness of it all. i made good use of it during a recent photoshoot for the JCasa SHOP - the light is so nice in there, and the centuries-old paneling makes the perfect backdrop for everything displayed on this lovely line of hooks. sure, it may have taken several years for this special piece to find the perfect spot, but it was one of those pieces i knew i had to buy when i saw it. you know what i mean, right?
have you ever done that? seen something that you knew was so special that you simply had to buy it - even though you don't need it, or don't have a place for it? for me, it was this hook. next up is the antique farmhouse table we're converting into a mobile island for the new kitchen. oh yeah, and the vintage chalkboard i thrifted a few months back. it has a chalkrail. and it cost $2, so i had to buy it. i knew you'd understand. xoxo
