monday stitches

french knots can add nice little pops of color and cool texture to a sewn piece.  and since my efforts to wing it only ended up with a lot of unraveling in the past, i turned to my trusty pal google for assistance.  in addition to some great technical illustrations, i found a nice how-to over on the purl bee with plenty of photos to clear up any confusion.
