we baked cookies. his favorite cookies. they are pretty tasty. especially with coffee. or milk. or tea. or for breakfast.
it is acceptable to have cookies for breakfast, right? when i visited a friend in Rome way back when, we ate cookies for breakfast. (not these cookies, but Italian cookies nevertheless.)
so last night i said that since he is Italian, he could also have cookies for breakfast. he chuckled as i told him this story - all the while downing a few cookies, mind you. he wasn't buying it. so i bagged up one cookie and left it on the counter for him. it was gone this morning. apparently it is not unacceptable to eat cookies for breakfast when driving to work.
