girly girl got a long-overdue vest knit for her this weekend. i've been fiddling with a neighborly for her for over a year, but it seems she's grown so much that i ended up frogging that little number.
enter two skeins of most gorgeous wool and larger needles, because - quite frankly - the mama/maker guilt was killing me and i had something to prove. she was very good at tolerating my requests for her to try it on "just one more time" and the eye-rolling was kept to a minimum. i'm thinking that seeing it come together before her very eyes in a matter of two days made it all worth it.
that combined with the fact she could go to school dressed like gnomey. i'll have the pattern written up in a few days + will be sure to share all the details right here. xoxo
