we have no official tool bench in our home. the necessary tools can be found in the basement on an old desk, but let's call it what it is - a tool pile. and a messy one at that. in my little studio, however, the situation is different. i have a few of the necessary tools for sewing, paper-crafting, book-binding and such, but not too many. and on an as-needed basis, i have been adding to my personal tool kit. one of my favorites is grommet pliers. (and it is primarily rashida's fault.)
the kiddos have even used them on a few projects which we'll be able to share soon enough. in the meantime, there's been a new design on my mind for some time that features grommets. the good news is that you'll have to wait until monday for the free pattern (and a giveaway!), which gives you enough time to locate a 40% coupon for joann's and add some grommets + pliers to your own tool kit. xoxo
