life has taken over and there's been much making going on - dare i say too much at times. one can only juggle so many craft + knitting + sewing + music projects at once before running straight into a blank wall.
during it all, i confess to not preparing dinner all that often. i had a sex & the city moment a few weeks back when placing our biweekly chinese takeout order and they knew right away who it was for. good thing i give them the hub's name and not mine or i would have died just a little bit inside.
but when i've had the time, or more importantly when i've made the time (and even taken refuge in the time), i've fed them well with food + love. and that has, in turn, fed me. xoxo

those scones are my variation on this recipe - instead of 3/4 cup buttermilk (which i would have used, but didn't have on hand) we used 1/2 cup of yogurt and 1/4 milk. and i didn't blend the berries into the dough, opting instead for rustic discs with berries piled on top. so. flipping. good.
