i can occasionally hit it out of the park.
oh yes, that first ruffle was just right. as is the heather ross fabric that is lighter than helium. perfect for twirling and prancing and slip-sliding away.
however - it is this perfectly placed ruffle that got me in trouble with that other number in the first place. it's like hollandaise sauce.
oh my goodness, do i love hollandaise sauce. i can taste it now. on a freshly poached egg with asparagus at clyde's in georgetown 20+ year ago when my folks came to visit.
where was i?
oh yes, overdoing it. (ahem) to me, this ruffle is like hollandaise - so yummy that i made up excuses to have it on just about everything. until it gave me a bellyache and taught me a lesson. again.
