she really loves cats. i mean really loves them.

so you can imagine she had a bit of a meltdown when her clip broke this morning.
ok, so maybe i broke her clip. poked my finger with the wire, too. and i felt really bad about it. breaking the clip, i mean. really, i did. but in my defense, i was just trying to twist it around so that the cat would be right-side up on her head because parting her hair on the other side was not an option.
so what else was i to do : emergency crafting, my friends.
first thing - get the glue. glue works wonders.
have you met these martha stewart glue bottles? between the screw cap and the teeny tiny dispenser that wastes not a drop to the suprisingly powerful adhesive that's in there - i love it all. and if i ever meet martha stewart, i will tell her. i mean, the screw cap alone is just so cute.
squirt some on the back of the button.
plop a round magnet on there + let dry for a half day or so.
(yes, i am well aware this is not rocket science.)
hey presto! one happy girly with a new kitty magnet holding up grocery list in kiddo handwriting which i refuse to throw away.
my work here is done. now where's the neosporin? xoxo
