while the hub + the girls were watching episodes of the muppet show, i was at work.
i'm accustomed to recording live on simple devices (and in our basement, for that matter), where start-to-finish has to be as close to what we deem perfect as is possible because there is no splicing things together. being in a proper recording studio is a new experience all together. heck, i even got to play a steinway Grand. whoah.
so i play and play and play and play (you get the idea), and then i'm called into the control room all confused because no one take was near perfect-ish. but hey presto, in a matter of minutes, it's all there. i definitely think our engineer has superpowers.
