busy works for me. that is to say, i like having a routine filled with things to keep all of us active, entertained and inspired. and of course, i also loooove when there are pockets of nothingness in there to enjoy, as well. but these days, busy is my middle name.
i've been able to wrangle in our dinners by writing out each week's meals with any necessary recipes clipped right alongside the menu in one of sara's moleskines - using one of the tear-out pages for my shopping list and going to the store once a week. (what??? i know! so far so good... and our overall grocery bill is less - who knew.) then there's a to-do list for the week with bills + boring paperwork + lists of library books that must be returned, etc. and then there's the super great creative stuff - you see, in addition to the music, there's the other couple things with their accompanying deadlines posted on my studio wall. enough said.
and then there's this new pattern i'm working on - i think you're really gonna dig it. i promise you'll be the first one i tell when it goes live. how can i lead you on like this? simple: it's awesome.
