between a pair of birthdays + the holidays, we all have a lot to be thankful for. after a few searches for simple fill-in thank you notes, i still couldn't find ones that were simple enough for 5-year olds. i think you know what happened next.
half hour on the computer later and we have a winner. fold them over top to bottom, and then side to side and voila! the littles have a proper card they can fill in (with some sounding out + spelling assistance along the way). and according to this afternoon's at-home market research, the best part is that they can draw a special picture for each friend right on the front of the card.
over the next few days, the girls have something like 15 more to do. each. i think i need to make a few more copies. and bake some cookies to say how much i appreciate them expressing gratitude to their little friends.
