i was greeted this morning by sweet little smoochy faces that could only be improved by a bit of teethbrushing. on any given day, those bright squishy yummy mugs take my breath away. but today was a dream come true...
"mama, i need to sew."
never have i hopped up that fast. ever. OF COURSE!!!
for some time now the girls have been enjoying picking up their handsewing here and there, so i've been contemplating a toy sewing machine, scouring thrift shops when i got a chance and even ebay in the hopes of finding just the right one. but it wasn't until i spotted this beautifully-crafted simple machine a while back on flickr that i ordered one (from woodclinic on etsy - he's super), knowing full well it would become an instant treasure.
the girls are doing surprisingly well taking turns making things and digging through the scrap bushel planning up their next creation.
somebody pinch me to make sure i'm not dreaming xoxo
