i'm thrilled with the results of yesterday's project ::
here's to keeping the little one comfy+ cozy and enchanted by her new friends.
i love how the free-motion quilting aided in creating all those soft quilty lumps. thanks to the 100% cotton fabrics + batting, it shrunk up to a perfectly baby-sized 22"x22". next time i try this technique, i need to move a bit slower and really work on keeping the stitches closer together. i think my excitement got the best of me this first time whirling around like that - but is that so wrong?
