life's been hectic this past week and i am exhausted. i actually fell asleep in the car on the way home sunday night while the girls and dh were singing along with freddie mercury. (no, i wasn't driving.) but it's been the best kind of hectic one could want - birthday celebrations (four of them) and all the family, fun and food that goes along with it all. nope, i'm not complaining.
except for one thing... i've missed my incredibly-untidy-yet-oh-so-inspiring workspace so much that it hurts. the single hour i've spent in there over the past 72 has done wonders.
i've developed a rhythm of filling a big basket with WIPs to draw from on those days when i only have 1/2 hour (or 15 minutes) to sew - projects which i partially complete and then set aside for another day. i've been able to wrap up a few smaller goodies in that precious hour and am about to dive into a big project this week. it's not necessarily all that complicated, but it will definitely require a great deal of time and precision to carry out to the level of awesomeness that i desire and require.
