a play-by-play of a day at play:
the great expanse that is our yard - such excitement fills the air as the wee ones make their tracks and follow those of unknown creatures.
*
the process of removing so many layers of snowy clothes - finally the boots lined up by the vents. let it be known that i am not the one who performed this action. oh no. the girls took it upon themselves. they're so into arranging things at this age.
*
nothing says snow day like rosy cheeks, "warm" cocoa and snuggling under a quilt. it was a good day.
*
4 - dinner of tomato soup & toasted cheese, upscale that is
my variation of ina's roasted tomato basil soup, a crunchy green salad and homemade demi-baguettes split after baking and then toasted on the stone with fresh mozzarella on top. there's not a drip or crumb of leftovers!
*
made an everyday tote (size and shape like this one) in a color scheme i call harvest. fabrics are feedsack, denise schmidt & an apple/pear tea towel from crate & barrel. she'll be in the shop in a few days.
so, yeah... life is good. btw: for those few proud readers of mine, i apologize for the lack of posts of late. i've been trying to figure out my new laptop and how to connect the camera dock bla bla bla. that and trying to wrrestle with recertification and transitioning to a teaching license which i may/may not ever use again, but it'd be foolish to lose it bla bla bla. off to register for my grad class...
